Bmshome.org is an open source collection of software currently in development which together make a building management system for folks homes and residences. It is particularly suited for collections of residences which can share the internet interface, such as flats, apartments, and social housing.
The human interface is a Adobe Flex Web Application using the adobe flash browser which is connected to a MySQL database.
There is a server linked to the MySQL (written in ADA 95 for safety critical reasons) which provide updates and optimisations to a local network of zigbee electronic devices which provide interdevice and interhome networking, sensor readings and interfaces to local heaters / heatpumps. / lights etc.
The code will be kept at source forge once a release is formalised
